Frequently Asked Questions

  • Dress Modestly: Please take a shower and wear modest clothing when visiting the Gurdwara. Avoid carrying or being under the influence of alcohol, cigarettes, or drugs. Wearing a hat or cap is prohibited.
  • Cover Your Head: Covering your head is a sign of respect. The Gurdwara provides scarves, handkerchiefs, and bandanas if needed. Hats and caps are inappropriate.
  • Remove Your Shoes and Socks: To maintain cleanliness and show respect, remove your shoes and socks before entering the Darbar Hall. It is also recommended to wash and dry your feet.
  • Wash Your Hands: Please wash your hands with soap after taking off your shoes, before/after eating, and especially before praying.

Sangat visiting the Gurdwara are encouraged to take part in Seva (selfless service). For more information or guidance on how to get involved, please visit the front desk at either of our locations.
